Fall in Alberta is so easy to love. Yes, despite the shorter days and longer nights and even that nip in the air. Change is good. Change is inevitable. Change can be beautiful and colourful with just a touch of reality thrown in for good measure. We must let go in order to experience fall completely.
All of our groups are madly rehearsing for their Christmas shows and since this is a short term, “madly” is exactly the right word for it. The growth and development in all of our groups has been extraordinary to witness and I feel much joy at watching their “colors” change and come alive as we proceed together.
So Noted Singers are moving so fast on their lovely Christmas Market show, that we have reduced their rehearsal time slightly! Cleopatra has grown in membership and will contribute to the So Noted Christmas show and are also already having fun working towards their March “masquerade and murder on the high seas” show…yeah, we need a good title yet. Forte Plus and Seniors Acting Out Together have started in on their moving Christmas Delivery show which now seems either really appropriate or really questionable since it’s about a mail delivery person!
As the autumn wind picks up the leaves and allows those leaves to soar above the trees, we too find ways of soaring together. Let’s fly.
