I’m now at the end of my third year with So Noted Singers and Forte Plus Choir. It’s the end of my second year with Cleopatra since I started them a year after So Noted and Forte Plus. Time is flying past and I’m loving every moment of it. It turns out my 32 years of conducting and leading a non-profit prior to this were a really great training ground for me to do all of this with all of you. I did not see this coming and yet I am so grateful to be doing it.
It’s spring – time to think about growth, renewal and the courage to move forward. And yup, I’m definitely thinking about how wonderful it all is.
Here I am, reflecting after 35 years on a career I really never expected. Of course, now I cannot imagine having any other. I feel like this is where I was meant to be all along. Choosing themes, choosing and ordering music, hiring musicians, writing scripts, etc etc and best of all….seeing all of you each week and working the music with all of you. I truly love our rehearsals.
