You might be wondering why there is a blog entitled “me, my dad and dementia” on a choir website.
Simply put, my Dad and I have been working together in the choral field for over 30 years. Our work, our passion, our joy – integral to our very interwoven lives. And, research now tells us that music can help memory, depression, energy and the brain. You see? It makes perfect sense for this blog to live here on this website.
I hope you are able to find some connection when you read it. Connections are how we come together as humans and music is the perfect bridge.
